Die For Denim
Denim has always been a major part of the fashion industry since 1873, becoming widely popular in the 1950's. I must admit one of my favorite outfits is denim and a t-shirt. But this Spring 2011 the denim has taken over from head to toe! From tops and sleek plants and platform denim heels.
Whatever the style is, denim is still here to stay.

Fashion Is Black... Black Is Beautiful
Love the new fashion spread for Italian Vogue. All the models are these tall amazon, extremely beautiful black models and I must admit that there is some part of me that feels proud that there is more of a African, African American or Black presence in the fashion industry.
So many young women want to be able to identify with fashion magazines, and even though this is the Italian Vogue, it gives more inspiration to the African American communities.
